Dear visitors to our web site, announcing 2nd International Festival of Good Practice in Mechatronics, I hope you will muster the courage and take an active part in the meeting in late October 2013.
Nowadays, just having knowledge in not enough – knowledge has to be used and, in schools, transferred to students in a suitable way, in a way to encourage students to seek for themselves, to do research, create, ... The current school generation, generation Y, is confident and innovative.
Let's take advantage of their potential as they are able to perform more than one task simultaneously and even have fun at that. The teacher are faced with a big challenge but by applying new methods of teaching we hope to acquire new skills and experiences. Mechatronics itself presents a
challenge to us.
Let our second meeting be an exchange of new ideas, experiences and knowledge, which will help us achieve top results with our students. The road is steep but the goal is reachable and amazing. So hit the road without hesitation.
Let me end by citing a famous American motivator Napoleon Hill, "A quitter never wins and a winner never quits."
